Neptune Retrograde in Astrological Pisces (d. Nov. 27th)
10:36a.m. (EDT)

Tomorrow morning we welcome the Summer Solstice and the longest day before light gives way to darkness. There is a lot going on with the solar transit into Cancer and a Neptune Retrograde that will remain through November 27th. The Moon wanes in astrological Aquarius and we are already in the throes of Jupiter (Sagittarius), Saturn (Capricorn) and Pluto (Capricorn) Retrogrades taking hold in April. Everybody wants in on the party and everyone wants to be the focus of attention. So, what to do with all of this palpable energy?

To begin with, just breathe! Take a load off and if you are able and the weather accommodates, spend some quality time outside tomorrow reveling in the light. Better yet, find a natural setting-beach, woods, mountains-and drink in the power and splendor of our world unadorned and embraceable and ready for the reciprocity of healing. Feeling better now? Okay, let’s get to the magick.

We have all of the elements represented in this line-up and the ability to connect these energies to align with the alchemical and elemental nature of our being. Saturn and Pluto have been hanging out in earthy Capricorn, ensuring that every step of the way has been carefully executed just as the goat navigates t he steepest of cliffs. Saturn naturally strives towards structure and a timestamp that is of no world’s making. Pluto heralds the death of what should be relegated to the past to serve s as the inspiration of the futures endeavors. This earthiness directly impacts our physical state of being and all that we relinquish in the transformation of rendering from the past, seeking the vision of the future while solidly anchored to a present that is instantaneously becoming the past that informs our future.

Jupiter and the Sun lend their own vision of Fire. Jupiter’s fire being the expansive quality that is the lighter fluid necessary for the flames to take hold and the control and contraction needed to maintain a product burning. The Sun moves of its own accord, in this case just stepping into the mantle of Cancer’s healing and homey waters. There is a natural soothing nature that occurs with the gentle warming of emotions (Cancer is ruled by the Moon) and intuitive gnosis vs. the full blaze onset that occurs with the Sun in any of its resonate Fire signs.

And, the Neptune Retrograde in its ruling sign of Pisces. For the time of the retrograde the tides will be still and the action that plays out will occur deep in the darkest and most hidden recesses of the emotional psyche. Compassion will be submerged and transformed to deepening discernment that comes only from love that has been drained of its original need to possess and is transformed into complete surrender to simply being. These are waters that have potential to heal.

The Lady of the Moon boasts the sliver of her waning as the aquarian airy nature of the cosmos flows through her streams of silvery hair. The vision is beautiful and powerful and the sense of the bigger picture and plan for the Universe is etched in the streams of moonlight.

The Longest Day! The Deepest Healing….

I would like to suggest that you take this day as a day for celebrating you and simply be in the warmth of the longest day with no concerns about what comes next. We’ve had that play out as a common theme for several months now and everyone is frayed and worn from the efforts. Even joyous events take their toll, so honor that as well. Access the peak of solar energy and the promise it holds for renewal and replenishment to draw into every cell of your being for use in whatever comes ahead.

So, here’s the metaphor and visual. Your favorite swimming spot. Sumer Solstice’ balmy heat as the light of the day’s sun slowly begins to give way. You reach out to grab onto the rope that has been your access to the cooling and deep waters below. And, just as the last of the day’s light colors the sky crimson, you swing out, let go and fall into deep and darkened waters. The water envelopes you like a soft shell ready to receive and cushion. The sun has almost fully set and the water is very dark and you feel the rushing of so many millions of tiny beads of water around you, you relax and allow yourself to sink as deeply as needed. These waters are exactly what was needed to cool and begin the healing of your body that was exposed for too long in the peak of this Solstice’ Sun. You reach the apex of depth and the ascent begins. No effort, just surrender to the natural physics of the dive and the rise. You reach the surface, breathe in the fresh air and swim to shore. Darkness surrounds you and the sign of renewal glistening in shiny droplets on your skin under the vision of Mother Moon’s waning sliver.

Tomorrow is another day, another opportunity. The day will be shortened ever so slightly, but this favorite place of diving deeply will be accessible. Time will stand still in this sacred space of your making and the tender and burned skin from the day prior will begin its healing.

Wow! Lots going on and lots to talk about! This early morning Full Moon bathes in the energy of astrological Gemini, the quintessential archetypal energy of communication and mental agility. Father Sun has transited into the solar month of astrological Sagittarius, the direct opposite (on the zodiacal wheel) as usual of Mother Moon’s flowing waters of lunation. In this case, astrological Sagittarius fires up the solar energies and begins the process of sending out those electromagnetic bursts (think Sagittarian arrows) seeking collaboration, community and networks. Both Moon and Sun are in signs of the Mutable Modality which gives the necessary ebb and flow required of outreach that is potent and active inits intention(Sun in Sagittarius) and the rising waters  that adapt and change (Moon in Gemini) all the while reflecting an intuitive light held within.

As if that isn’t enough, we have….

Mercury Retrograde in Astrological Sagittarius
(mutable)Fire of Air(mutable)

It just so happens that Mercury is the ruling planet of Gemini, giving this Full Moon in Gemini an additional level of intensity. This planet holds the archetypal energy of messengers, tricksters and to a large degree shape shifters able to turn on a dime in their conversational manner and redirect it in whatever way serves their intellectual fancy. The bad rap Mercury Retrograde gets is based in its deftness at demanding a slower response in all communication endeavors. Just as it operates at lightning speed in its normal flow of orbital energy, the retrograde “slow down” reflects the call for more scrutiny. This causes great frustration, particularly in the fast-paced setting of today’s society. Quick decisions are prized and misunderstandings run rampant as a result of not allowing pause to contemplate and reflect on all the possibilities available.

The energetic connection between this Full Moon’s mantle and its occurrence during a Mercury Retrograde provide the opportunity to allow what arises in the fullness of the Moon’s emotive light to be fully examined and the adaptability of Gemini’s grace to inform what is revealed. In other words, slow down, pause and really digest the intentions and concepts presented to you within the lunarscape of your intuitive and flowing (Moon) mind (Airy Gemini). This becomes the Intelligence of the Heart. Mind and heart aligned and informed by one another.

And….

Neptune Direct in astrological Pisces
(Mutable) Planetary Water in its Ruling Sign

Water of another sort flows as the underpinning of this Full Moon. Neptune stations direct after a bit of a slowing in astrological Pisces, its natural astrological sign. Neptune swells with tides that plunge deeply into waters that hold mysteries and await the courageous diver who seeks the treasure of deep gnosis. This direct movement pushes all that flows from Full Moonlight and revelation and carries it forward to become the deep and crashing waves affecting change.

In alignment with the Gemini’s spark of mental acuity, Neptune’s energy boasts flexibility that enables the stretch and contraction required to set deeply informed and introspective communication in motion. The inherent Mutability cloaking each (Gemini Moon and Pisces Neptune) is the gift of creating thresholds of endings that become the quick start for rebirth.

Solar light in mutable Sagittarian Fire

The transition, on the 22nd into a solar month of Sagittarius sets the stage for Gemini’s Full Moon waters. The fire of the Sun changes its intensity and mutable Sagittarius prepares its arrows to be launched, the goal one of setting ablaze new means of action and lighting the way for what will support the subsequent endeavors.

Deep in Conversation

Where do we go from here and what intentions will we set along the way? Technology is a wonderful thing and allows us to stay connected and reach further than we were able prior to cell phones, social media and more. It has also become a way to remain detached, overly brief in our communications and missing out on the intimacy of conversation that is reflected in a heartfelt gaze and thoughtful response -the cornerstones of being more deeply connected.

This full moon allow the depths of feeling that flow from Neptune’s waters; the experiences that have built up as Neptune paused in its retrograde to move you to a state of compassion. Embrace the light of the full moon’s grace to enhance a more heart-felt communicative style as Mercury’s retrograde takes hold in calling you to take time to reflect, ask questions, and get to know those whom you choose to interact with. Put down the cell, and just show up for a face-to-face conversation. Step away from the computer and make memories and new experiences in person and not vicariously through the pictures of other’s activities.

And, finally use the entirety of the Sagittarian solar month to network, connect and seek out community. Reach out actively to quicken some new alliances and allow Mercury Retrograde’s slowing to let those small fires burn more deeply rooted as new paths and experiences are set ablaze in your newly found strength of engaging in deep and fulfilling conversation.

Pop the Cork! Mars Goes Direct…..

August 27.2018
Mars Direct

The tension has been building. The energy of forward motion has been building. And, now the champagne is ready to celebrate as we pop the cork on a rare vintage of Mars retrograde.

Mars stationed Retrograde on June 26.2018 in the astrological sign of Aquarius. This astrological mantle gave an additional visionary perspective to an already very palpable and aggressive flow from Mars bringing an intellectual and and very mental approach to any action taken. This retrograde occurred within the day prior aura of a Capricorn Full Moon, which ensured that as Mars entered into this stationary state of appearance Air (Aquarius) and Earth (Capricorn) stood in the spotlight of the Full Moon’s watery and emotional glow.

Now, as Mars propels forward it ends its retrograde in a 28th (latter) degree of astrological Capricorn; earth finally having caught up with the intensity of Mars need to act and exert its will. Any retrograde brings an opportunity for introspection. Mars offers the gift of taking a deep look at how much force we exert as we move through the world. Are we coming from a state of aggression or assertiveness? And, learning how to modulate the intensity of this action to produce the most productive (negative or positive) outcomes. The bolster to this came from last night’s Full Moon in astrological Pisces; compassion filled water enhanced by its ruling planet Neptune’s retrograde and Mother Moon’s ebb and flow.

This Mars retrograde has been no less intense, and the astrological events that we have weathered during this retrograde have been transformative, to say the least. Rare eclipses, 6 retrograde planets and more have amped up everyone’s physical, mental and spiritual states. The recent Mercury retrograde and direct (Aug. 17-18) pattern put a halt on frivolous communication, allowed time to slow time and review before reaching and with the direct action, to carry forward what we have learned of the lessons of meaning and intention-filled dialogue.

Now, with the release of Mars’ stronghold, we are slingshot into action honed by a temporary fencing in provided by the Fixed Air of Aquarius (think and then think again-before acting) and flowing into the Cardinal (quickening) Earth energy of Capricorn’s sure footed goat; hopefully being able to navigate the heights and the depths from a place of stability. What began as the active vision of mind’s vision of the ascended human was brought into more palpable and tangible action to be en-acted in the manifest world, by one of spiritually corporeal form.

So, raise a toast and pop that cork as you celebrate a new found ability to move in accord with all parts of your being. Another layer of energy refined as we remain under the spell of a foundational four planetary retrograde of Saturn-Uranus-Neptune and Pluto…

It’s Elementally Intense! Six Planetary Retrogrades and the Lion’s Light

Posted in Astrology, Jupiter, Neptune, Pluto, Retrogrades, Saturn on August 9, 2018 by themagickalpen

The celestial ballet that has been calling us to take notice has been intense and beautiful in the  patterns and partnerships that have been cosmically choreographed. Each planetary dancer moving in rhythm and grace as the light is eclipsed for a time in the dreamy shadows of Moon, Sun and Earth and give way to the burgeoning of a spotlight of intensity reflecting like the multi-faceted and colored gels of lighting that sets the tone and mood for what is occurring beneath on the stage of Earth.

We have already experienced two (2) total eclipses of the Moon (Jan. 31st and July 27th) and two (2) Partial eclipses of the Sun (Feb. 15th and July 13th) with the third of the year just a few days away on August 11th. This last Total Eclipse of the Moon also boasted a trio of Earth-Moon and Pluto in opposition to the Sun. And, now the stage has been set and we await the Quintet of planetary energies that will move in slow and very exacting manner; each a character that will demand its place of connection to you, hoping to transform and deepen and all upstaged by Mercury’s 2nd Retrograde appearance.  Curtain up, lights on and we begin…

Six Planets in Retrograde…

Saturn Retrograde (April 17th) in Capricorn (Cardinal Earth)

Pluto Retrograde (April 22nd) in Capricorn (Cardinal Earth)

Neptune (June 18th) Retrograde in Pisces (Mutable Water)

Mars Retrograde (June  26th) in Aquarius (Fixed Air)

Newcomers to the party….

Mercury Retrograde (July 5-August 18/19) in Leo (Fixed Fire)

…….And, then a shot of lightning and lighting up the  Pentacle was Uranus Stationing Retrograde in Taurus (Fixed Earth) on August 7th!

The New Moon and Solar Eclipse – A Cameo Appearance of the Luminaries
Saturday, August 11.2018
New Moon in Leo 5:58a.m. (EDT)
Solar Eclipse

Saturday boasts some cameo appearances with Mother Moon waxing New and her soulmate Father Sun is eclipsed; both taking center stage in charismatic form as the Lion and Lioness command attention and devotion. By way of reminder, a solar eclipse involves the alignment of Sun-Moon and Earth, respectively in that order:

Metaphysically, this is an opportunity to draw from the strength and inner flames of your will (Sun) and move them through the waters of your intuitive and healing nature (Moon) to infuse and inform the Earth of your manifest form. This could also be used as a healing alignment where the will towards catalytic (Sun) and empowering healing (Moon) come together to fill your body with Light and Calm that renew and regenerate. The action of the Sun being eclipsed by the Moon’s shadow means that this potent solar energy is tempered and shaded a bit. I like to think of it as being more manageable in its impact; still very potent but without the full blaze of burn. And, the libretto outlines boldly what can “be”-communicating with an additional dose of Mercurian introspection in its last few days of retrograde.

The Cast of Retrogrades

The following is my perspective on the elemental energies of the planets and astrological signs, so you may find some differing opinions in regard to the traditional attributions. Coming from a mindset that all of the elements are contained in each of the primary elements and that these act as permutations of the pure essence of what that primary element’s nature is allows for a broader scope of understanding how one size does not fit all, particularly in esoteric matters. Keeping this “disclaimer” in mind let’s take a look at how these retrogrades may be accessed:

Note: In using subsets of the Elements, the first can be thought of as the garb worn by the primary (or second listed) element that gives a slightly different presentation of its base energy. For example Water of Fire means that the Pure Essence of Fire and all that is associated with that element (i.e. will, desire, action, transformation, assertion, aggression, etc…) is harmonized by the properties of Water (i.e. healing, intuition, emotion, flow, etc..). The example I often use is volcanic Lava. It is Fire that flows and moves as water, transforming the surfaces it touches in a way that only Fire can, but also moving in accord with the ebb and flow of a river.

Retrograde planets provide intensity to whatever their core energy is. This “hovering” or slowing down of the planet’s orbit creates a bit of a vacuum of outpouring that is turned within, which accounts for the dis-ease that many have when a planet retrogrades. In reality, it means an opportunity to look deeper at those parts of yourself that are now being called into accountability and make whatever changes, refinements or enhancements that are needed to move into your next stage of personal/spiritual and human development.

Earth of Earth   –    Pluto in Capricorn
Pluto is the planet of death and rebirth (of a sort). The furthest away from Earth, it’s astronomical mysteries are only beginning to be explored. Astrologically, Pluto is one of the three outer planets that reflects the higher vibration of one of three of the Elder planets. In the case of Pluto, its coarser reflection is mirrored through Mars. This means that the aggressive nature of Mars is refined and aligned with transformative action that resides in a timeless state of being. Pluto allows for the reaching back of past experience as the newly crafted future of the necessary death of what holds you trapped in the present occurs simultaneously in eternity’s loop.

For this purpose I am ascribing the regenerative nature of Earth and its foundational qualities to be the introspective call of Pluto. Additionally, Pluto is garbed in the cloak of Capricorn, and astrological sign of Cardinal Earth. Cardinal modalities are those of quickening and new beginnings and Capricorn has lots of those starts and stops as an astrological sign of slow and steady progress as the Sea-Goat attempts to navigate the heights and depths of experience. That sounds a bit like what I described of Pluto’s ability to reside both in the depths of the Past and the heights of the future, all the while maintaining a point of the present.

Assigning the qualities of Earth (Capricorn) of Earth (Pluto) to this retrograde offers ample opportunity for creating new foundations, more strongly built on the collaborative efforts of who you have been and who you wish to be as you stand more fully in your power to change in the present.

Water of Fire   –    Mars in Pisces
Mars holds the planetary energies of action and the choice of expression either as assertion or aggression. It is bold and fiery in its nature and easily changeable in where it points its focus of attention. Like the general in battle, if Mars is used justifiably, great victories can be obtained and more will benefit rather than be further oppressed. Mars retrograde requires that the energy that is cumulatively building is verified as justified and not just the letting off of hot-headed steam.

Astrologically, this cooling off is enabled by astrological Pisces; the most compassionate and tolerant of the Water signs. Its is of the Mutable (flexible) modality which aligns with the ebb and flow, contraction and expansion that is the norm of bountiful seas of emotive grace, healing and intuition. Now this watery fire can be destructive in appearance but what is rendered and finally made moveable, can also heal what has lain dormant and stagnant. In the case of this retrograde action, I would allow time for reflection on what you are holding as anger that is pent up and non-productive and learning how to channel those areas into productive and result-filled action. Allow the Fire of mars to bring to attention what you are most passionate about and then let those passions flow with grace towards the correct outlets of assertive justice, rather than aggressive destruction.

Water of Water   –    Neptune in Pisces
Neptune is ruled by astrological Pisces, so this retrograde is one that although filled with love and healing can also be the storm at sea that arises unexpectedly and drowns even the most experienced of heart’s sailors. Additionally, the planet of Fiery Action (Mars) and the King of the Sea’s mysteries (Neptune) are both being called to compassion.

Astrologically, Pisces is a sign of Water that is of the Mutable Modality. The danger with Pisces is that of being submerged too deeply in the problems and worries of others; over extending themselves and the very gifting of love and respect overly supplied becomes the heavy weight that drowns and depletes. Neptune will pull you even more deeply into the hidden worlds of your emotional and intuitive seascape and the caution is not to allow the melancholy for the plight of humanity to overwhelm and live you lifeless and ineffectual. Use the bolstering of Mar’s natural directive to act and entwined in the loving embrace of Pisces and Neptune’s ability to ride out any storm and you will find the correct balance of compassion and justice.

In this configuration Water (Neptune) of Water (Pisces) is expressed in its purest form. Compassion flows into the depths of gnosis and the healing that occurs at the level of the Soul becomes the intelligence of a heart that pierces the veils of our emotion’s surface waters much like Neptune’s trident.

Earth of Spirit   –    Saturn in Capricorn
Saturn is the planet of great structure, rigidity and the Gate Keeper of Time. Not the time we observe in linear fashion, but the timeliness of organization that creates the space for something new to be birthed. Saturn is often considered the Great Mother, albeit one who is harsh in expectation and not very tolerant of any side-stepping the larger plan. With that being said a Saturn retrograde brings the intensity of reflection that demands a deep and unwavering look at all those structures you have built and the possibility that they are simply faulty towers that will not survive the timelessness of evolutionary growth.

On this occasion, Saturn is cloaked in Capricorn’s sure-footedness that should make things go much more smoothly. But the reality is that with every step taken, Saturn’s role is to test and test again (much like that harsh Mother) to ensure that what is accomplished in the descent or ascent is worth the trouble-time and effort.

In the current configuration, Saturn shares Capricorn’s mantle with time’s master, Pluto. So, most assuredly the structure that is demanded is going to be firmly based from the catalytic (Capricorn’s Cardinal Modality) foundation of being able to reach deep into the past as well as launching forward into the future’s gain.

You may be wondering why I have given Saturn the assignation of Spirt. My rationale is that of Saturn’s position as last of the Seven Elder Planets and gateway to the outer three. Saturn propels whatever approaches with intention through its gates and into the next vibrations of communication (Uranus)-heart (Neptune) and will (Pluto).
Spirit is what we aspire towards and in many cases we move into the vibration of Spirit when we are just close enough to approach the Dweller on the Threshold. Earth (Capricorn) of Spirit (Saturn) becomes the realization of ‘as above’, so below’- our Human and manifest aspirations to cross the threshold and become one with Spirit.

Fire of Air   –    Mercury in Leo
Mercury is the dynamic planet of communication. Air that moves with the swiftness, grace and form of a dancer soaring through space seeming suspended in motion. Mercury rules all that is created through the connections and networks formed by vibration. We communicate the deepest of our fears and shout out to all our successes. We paint and compose, dance and move through life, a virtual textbook of expression make manifest through the intangible beginnings that air provides. Of note is the fact that of all of the elements, Air is the only that cannot be seen other than by the results of its touch.

Now, we have retrograde Mercury wearing the brilliant flames of astrological Fixed Fire-Leo. Strong, burning and unyielding, the onlooker must turn away or be pulled closer by an electromagnetic vibration that commands respect. This application offers the potential for communication that incites- the choice being whether the intended outcome is one of inciting to riot or inciting to truth. OF course, everyone has their own definition of what “truth” is. So the caution being that as Mercury calls us to stop, pause, think and then re-think learning how to balance just enough of Leo’s fires to stoke what lay beneath our motives and intentions in communicating, we must be aware of the slow burn that is just as productive as the blazing bonfire.

Fire (Leo) of Air (Mercury) feeds communications’ passion and ultimate action. The will to be heard. The will to speak up. The will to create an environment that is heated by the fire that honest communication stimulates is a force to be reckoned with, as communities come together and are heard.

Earth of Air  –   Uranus in Taurus
Uranus, the planet extraordinaire, that is the epitome of electrical charge-disruptive-transforming and the bringer of a Light that is innovative and visionary. Uranus is the pure energy of neurological function and as such, when it stationed retrograde our neurological impulses are all fired up and stimulated. This is also the catalytic push to evolve, grow and awaken to the greater potential of humanity’s purpose and role cosmically. When all systems are firing, nothing can prevent the ultimate connection to what lay beyond the ordinary scope of our vision and imagination. Worlds open to us and we see the reality if our place as citizen’s of the Cosmos.

This is a different sort of Air than that of Mercury, and is indeed the higher vibration of Mercury’s communicative style. Think dial-up landline and instantaneous text messaging. Even this analogy is lame in comparison to Uranian energy, hence the often bad rap as being disruptive and rebellious. In retrograde the intensity is in attempting to upgrade our wiring as humanity. And, helping to tame and tether this potent dose of electrical impulse is its astrological sign of Fixed Earth-Taurus. Only problem is that Taurus also can be obstinate in regards to the amount of change it will tolerate. If taken slowly and deliberately and holding on to those two intentions, the earthiness of Taurus can create an appropriate container to buffer and channel this electricity towards what needs “lighting up”, what needs “pushing out” and what needs to short circuit juts enough to re-amp.

Wow! What A performance!

To say “there is a lot going on astrologically and cosmically”, doesn’t even begin to define the layers of energetic outpouring we are experiencing. And, all of this information I just gave you is probably overwhelming in determining where to set your sites and turn your attention to maximize (without burning out) the potential of these events.

The reminder is that a planetary retrograde generally lasts for a bit of time (with the exception of Mercury); so you have multiple opportunities to see the patterns playing out and revisit and revise what you wish to take-away from each new viewing.
The key is remaining adaptable in what your expectations are and not attempting to access all of this energy in one act(ion). Intermissions are very useful spaces of times and cultivate the anticipation for seeing more of what has already been offered as enticement. And, remember that no matter how much you enjoyed the show, an encore is not guaranteed. just be in the moment!

Blessings of this New Moon and all that follows….

Full Moon in Capricorn – Sun in Cancer
June 28.2018
12:53a.m.

Seems as though everywhere you look, people are seeking balance. Balance in the personal; balance in the private; balance in the public and balance in the world! Now when I say balance, I don’t mean equanimity. Balance means compromise and finding just enough of something to weigh in and complete what has been lightened of the load. I chose this perspective in working with this Full Moon.

Let’s start with a few astronomical details. When the Moon waxes Full, it is opposite in placement to the Sun on the astrological wheel. Traditionally this alignment, or opposition, is considered a place of tension between two conflicting energies. Tension is a good thing! Tension produces a new outcome from two things that act in friction with one another. It also requires us to stretch and grow in ways that may be uncomfortable for a space of time, but if you apply the pressure wisely and seek the space of compromising balance the rewards are a birthing of the best attributes of each.

So, what does this all mean? The Full Moon (Water-emotions,intuition, healing) is in the astrological sign of Earthy Capricorn; a Cardinal (new beginnings and the catalytic thrust) modality. The Sun (Fire-strength, power, magnetism) is in Watery Cancer, another Cardinal modality. Elementally, this gives us the benefit of Fire, Water and Earth. The opposition of Water (Moon) flowing within the realm of Earth’s manifest form (Capricorn) pulling on the opposite energy of Fire (Sun) heating up the Waters (Cancer) of emotions that flow from the space of family and home (Cancer). IF not tended correctly, those moody waters that span the depths and the heights(Capricorn) of expression can overrun and flood what hold the potential of quickened and enlivened (Solar enlightened) feelings that arise from the safety and comfort of a self-chosen home and family (Cancer). The sweet spot is what lay in the middle that gives the promise of just enough strength (Sun) and loving support (Cancer) that moves with assurance (Capricorn) as it explores how far its powerful reach extends; just like a gentle ebb and flow of the tides (Moon) as the shoreline is reshaped and reformed by its efforts. Here’s the fun part in working with these energies….

Pause:
Take a moment to simply “be” in the full light and downpour of Mother Moon’s loving gifts. Drink in the light of Father Sun’s potency in seeking the magnetic radiance of a most special solar child within waters that soothe and transform. Think and feel both of these extremes; the coolness of the Moon and the heat of the Sun; rays of each other’s brilliance interwoven as streams meandering and etching their imprint in the foundation of earth’s beauty-of your beauty.

Reflect
Now, reflect on how this energy feels as it pours in from either extreme of night and day; light and dark. What will you allow each of these gifts to bathe in their gifts? Where will you find the place of centeredness and balance? Your Heart (Water) and your Will/Intention (Fire) are ready to coalesce and reshape the foundations and landscape (Earth) of who you perceive yourself to be in this world; and deep in your vessel of corporeal form. Reflect- mirror back to yourself the image of yourself as Sun and Moon, as Earth and Water.

Then, Go!
Breathe and go! Run with this image of you in all of your parts, a newly birthed being of Sun and Moon finding that point of tension and resolution of Fire (Sun) and Water (Moon) flowing through a form and way of being (Earth) that is a compromise and composite of opposing energies.

I don’t know about you, but this Full Moon I need something more to flow through the lunar gates. I need a new perspective on learning to bridge the inherent cycles that cause the Sun and the Moon to move in their celestial dane through the Solar Year and the Lunar Months. As they say, I need to see both sides of the coin and somewhere within the differences that present is a mid-point of outpouring. So, maybe for this moon you will meet me in the middle!

The moon waxes full on Sunday, April 29th in the astrological sign of Scorpio. So, you may be wondering why my title for this post alludes to the bull of Taurus. This reference is made because there are a whole lot of dynamics occurring between elemental water and earth right now and many are getting stuck in the mud as you struggle to break free….

The moon is Full wearing the garb of watery Scorpio and is in opposition to a Sun that burns hotly in earthly and robust Taurus. Both are signs of a Fixed modality which means that there is staying power to whatever/wherever their energy is applied. The annual solar month of Taurus inherently offers the ability to stand strong in what you have created as your foundational and earthy realm; finances, possessions, relationships and anything that provides grounding and anchor to you thrive in Taurus’ light. The flip side is that this stalwart and very earthy energy can also encourage you to remain stuck in what has become outworn and “comfortable” but not necessarily productive. We are almost at the mid-point of this energy, which means that we may also access a more mature level of understanding as to how and what we choose to acquire as manifest space in our lives, and what should be left behind. These thoughts are the first layer of this current earth-water dynamic.

The Moon, already ripe and full with emotion and watery flow, is in Fixed Scorpio’s waters that ebb and flow through multi-layers of transformative outpouring. We have choice to remain guarded, hidden and introspective as the Scorpion of this sign’s energy; rise upwards into the light as the Eagle choosing a path that is more discerning in how those waters flow; or take the leap of faith required as the Phoenix renders to ash what it has laid bare and rises anew as a the stable current of fiery waters that carves out its own emotional landscape. Scorpio has always been one of those astrological signs that presents more like Fire than true Water; but then again, all of the elemental energies carry varying amounts of each of the other within them. This Fixed water of Scorpio can flow in a directed course or enter into stagnation o the desire to move is not appropriately placed. This provides the second layer of the current earth-water dynamic.

I mentioned earlier that the Sun and Moon are in opposition to one another. This is the traditional configuration of a Full Moon in alignment with the Solar Sign. Many hear opposition and identify this with conflict and avoidance. I have never perceived it that way. In fact, I view any opposition as an organic and healthy dialogue between polarized energies that seek a state of tension so that one or the other may find resolution at the appropriate point of interchange. Depending on the intention and what outcome may be needed, one may reach across and almost touch that id-point of equilateral balance, but this never quite happens in a moving state- the perfect mid-point actually meaning a stagnant place of stillness where neither receives the neutrality of a catalyst to transform the other. In the case of this Taurus and Scorpio exchange, the tension is one of manifest foundation (Taurus) striving towards the adaptability of transformation at multi-levels of being (Scorpio), and with each iteration of the application of tension, a newly created form emerges. A good analogy is to consider the birth of a Butterfly emerging from the cocoon, having shed the foundational blueprint of it caterpillar form.

Assistance from the Retrogrades:
Any retrograde is an opportunity to give more scrutiny and care to the energies emanating from that Planet. It is typified as a slowing down of the planetary orbit and as such provides a closer look at what could be tweaked, reshaped and reformed. Three (3) planets are currently Retrograde- Two in Earth signs and One in Water

Jupiter is Retrograde in Scorpio, so we have a resonance between the Great Expander and the Full Moon. Jupiter is noted for its expansive quality and much like the ebb and flow of the Moon’s tides, Jupiter also breathes in a rhythm of contraction and expansion. This is why Jupiter is often used for financial matters. There is an organic flow that moves through what we consider to be prosperity and the times of contraction (or lack) are necessary to allow for the bounty and prosperity to fill the coffers of what you desire. The gift here is one of harnessing this expansive nature as with each incremental striving towards the transformative power of Scorpio’s Phoenix, we provide time to rest and integrate within the “in breath/inspiration” gift in the contraction back to itself.

Saturn and Pluto are Retrograde in Capricorn, the earth sign of potential. Potential to reach deeply into the depths of emotions waters and the ability to retrieve and bring to the surface and higher what has been made manifest and revealed as the Sea-Goat navigates the heights of breath and mind. Saturn provides structure and orderly guidance as it oversees the process of pitfalls and failures. Unfortunately it can also become stuck and sluggish in advancement, not trusting that what is provided is enough.

Pluto is the planet of regeneration and concerns itself with death so that life may continue. I also seePluto’s energies as those of being able to reach into the far past, bring forward the necessary experiences and lessons as a new future is being created from the point of synthesis that wraps and enfolds the present. It too is in earthy Capricorn, and the potential for use this energy in a lateral way to further guide your efforts is potent in a retrograde focus.

The Raging Bull

In all of these cases, there is a pulse of rhythm, a natural ebb and flow/contraction and expansion/descent and ascent that is flowing through these solar charged waters. This is the Bull of the Taurean Sun, that is not content to stand still and in its movement causes upheaval and what appears to be collateral damage, but in so doing affirms life in its most manifest and passionate way. This is also a call to allow your primal nature to light the way, as the intuitive waters of Scorpio’s heart fuel your course with passion. Breathe into this ability to be adaptable (Moon in Scorpio) and stretch and reach (Jupiter in Scorpio) towards the Gates that hold the keys (Pluto in Capricorn) to what has been learned and what can be created with your intention. These are the Gates that provide the foundational structure Saturn in Capricorn)that may become the blueprint of success as you navigate these challenging times.

Lest you have the image of negative connotation in the word, “raging” my hint to you is held in the protective nature that is held in Taurus energy. Protective of home, family and those things that are the manifest image of that state of security and comfort. The raging bull is the guardian of all you hold dear and spiritually, it is the keeper of a wisdom that gifts its user with anchors that reach deeply into a manifest reality of your own highest creation.

Blessings of this Full Moon… Robin

Rekindling Hope! Full Moon in Aries

October 5.2017
Full Moon in Aries
2:40p.m.(EDT)

The Harvest Moon glows brightly and large in the night sky on Thursday in the astrological sign of Cardinal Fire, Aries. This moon brings with it the fires of new beginnings (Cardinal) around how we choose to act ( or react) and exert our will. And, it also brings the gift of refreshing the fires that hold us strong in our power.

The Harvest Moon is the full moon closest in date to the Autumnal Equinox (September 22.2017, this year). So, we might say that esoterically, this Full Moon brings with it the energy of a balanced point of space (the Equinox) allowing for the synthesis and integration of what has preceded it and flowing into what will come. This is also bolstered by the annual transit of the Sun into Libra, balance of mind and refinement of what evolves and flows into the next solar month of Scorpio.

We are all feeling charred and dampened down in spirit after the events of these past two months. Natural disasters, irrational and deadly behaviors and everywhere loss of life and or the security of home. We have all been effected by these, whether we have been in the midst of the crisis or safe and secure watching from afar; we are all part of the human experience and condition. And, so we feel the rippling out of waves of fear and loss of hope.

This full moon is an opportunity to revisit the enthusiasm and unstoppable hope that the innocence of childhood brings. Aries, is the first sign of the Great Wheel and being Cardinal Fire is the catalytic first spark that sets into motion the story woven through each of the astrological signs and stages of development that occur from there forward. It is exactly this energy that we can use to reset our emotions and feed and reignite the flame of hope we carry within.

Uranus Retrograde

The planet, Uranus, carries the full pulse of electrical charge that is the higher amplification of Mercury’s communicative flash. Its energy is one of pure impulse and works directly on the neural pathways. The Uranus retrograde ( since August 2nd – January 2.2018) has methodically exposed the raw nerve that electrifies our neurological system and the resultant flight or fight instinct. As events have been amping up in intensity and impulsiveness, our autonomic responses have also been heightened. Let’s scale that electrical impulse back a bit and allow the Moon in Aries to cancel out some of the overwhelming charge.

Aries is ruled by the planet Mars, another reactionary energy whose prime directive is that of action and movement. What is often overlooked with Mars energy is that we have choice as to whether we move forward, charging blindly ahead and without a plan or take the time to fuel the fires of its action in a planned and intention-filled way that will pull us forward and out of the mire that weighs us down without simply spinning our wheels in futile anxiety driven effort. So, what I am proposing is to allow Uranus to open the pathways and then fill them with the inspiration of Aries’ fires of renewal and let them flush through the darkened emotion ladened waters (Moonscape) bringing light and a vision of hope that is guided by youth’s undaunted spirit.

The Sun in Libra

The Libran Sun seeks balance and the restoring of harmony filtered through the conceptualization of thought (Libra is an Air sign). Add this to the mix of renewed hope and clarity and let the strengthening of the Sun restore balance and allow you to see with clarity and purpose. In this way, we are able to choose our battles, speak on behalf of those who have lost their voice, contribute our energy to restoring hope to those who have lost the most and much, much more. In other words, refill your storehouse so that you have the reserves needed when you are called upon to help another.

I stand outside bathed in a warm glow of light and the Harvest Moon whispers to me…

I know your secrets
I know your joys
I know your sorrows
I know who you are.

I have seen all that
Has been is and will be.

I have seen evolution and growth
Devolution and decay
And the ebb and flow of
My waters have brought from
The sea of creation life that
Will begin the cycle anew.

Peace and community
War and famine
Building and destruction
Wisdom and arrogance.

I have know all of these
Things and yet I remain
Watchful and filled with hope
For the potential I see.

The land is filled with
Potential for what the next
Planting and harvest will bring.

You are filled with potential for
What your next actions and offerings
Will bring.

I know your secrets and now
You know my mysteries and the
Gift of your place within them.

I invite you to take 25 minutes and join me in a pathworking to stabilize and refuel as the Harvest Moon looms large and glows with the warming orange light of renewal.

The Solar Eclipse of Great Shadow

Posted in Astrology, Auspicious Days, Lunar, Mercury, Neptune, Pluto, Retrogrades, Saturn, Solar, Uranus on August 17, 2017 by themagickalpen

August 21.2017

New Moon in Leo
Total Solar Eclipse in Leo

Many are primed and focused on this upcoming Eclipse and much has already been written about it. And, given many of the recent events both nationally and internationally, more has been written about the connections, etc. So, for what it is worth, here is a very simple take on how this energy has potential to be used and the far more long reaching impact of other astrological occurrences that will carry forward what is taken from the eclipse.

The astrological energy of Leo is one that can be particularly challenging, especially if applied to raw and exposed neurological matter. Meaning that we have all been amped up neurologically in a very deliberate and evolutionary way for some time now. Think technology and how much has progressed in such a short amount of time, almost to the point where we are unable to keep pace with the advancements. Now, think about everything within you that responds in much the same way as technology and requires upgrading and modification to keep pace with the increasing pressures we feel to meet all of the demands of a fast-paced society and its expectations.

Leo is the Lion who when on the hunt, will mercilessly take down its prey fueled by a heat and intensity that is ferocious, primal and self-centered. Add to this emotional landscapes (Lunar) that are either overflowing or severely depleted from the parching of heated reaction and the boiling point is soon reached. Neurons fire and we lash out taking down whatever lay in front of us- primal, instinctual. I am not making these observations as good, bad or neutral. They just simply are and how they are rallied and used determines the identification that is placed upon them as being of one kind or another.

With that being said, I view this Eclipse as a space to be used for moving into the shade offered by the cloaking of our intuitive/emotional (Moon) as we wrap its density around, for many, what feel like battered (energetically, physically or metaphorically) bodies (Earth). And, in opposition to ramping up and drawing from the potency of the Sun, I am suggesting dimming your fires, pulling them within and allowing the shadow of the Moon to pass uneventfully, carrying forward none of the precious Light that we will need in the months (perhaps years) ahead.

Nothing occurs in isolation and this is especially true of the energy being emitted by five (5) planets as they are in varying progress in their Retrograde stations. Five (5) is the number of change. CHANGE that occurs through radical measures and pushing the boundaries of we we believe to be our carefully laid foundations. This is change that reaches deeply when applied to ourself. And, given all of the choices and changes occurring in our world, our beliefs, values and ethics are being pushed to their boundaries daily.

In that regard, the power of this infrequently occurring Eclipse and the additional planetary energies at play are demanding that find the courage of the Lion and master and hone our instinctual nature to be of service for the greater good of all.

Whether we choose to align that energy in a partnership of bolstering and stabilizing is entirely up to the individual and what you are hoping to achieve of strength and stability moving forward…..

Retrogrades of Contractive Focus

Saturn in Astrological Sagittarius  (Mutable FIRE)
(Flexible and Expansive) Order and Structure casting a Broad Net
End Stage Intensity (Mutable-Cardinal) Direct: August 25

Mercury in Astrological Virgo   (Mutable EARTH)
(Flexible and Expansive) Communication that is Analytical and Orderly
Retrograde – 3/4 Stage (Mutable) Direct: September 5

Uranus in Astrological Aries   (Cardinal FIRE)
(Initiating) Electromagnetic Catalytic Beginnings
Beginning (Cardinal) Direct: January 2.2018

Neptune in Astrological Pisces   (Mutable WATER)
The (Flexible and Expansive) Illusory Depths of Compassionate Grace
Mid Stage (Fixed) Direct: November 22

Pluto in Astrological Capricorn   (Cardinal EARTH)
(Initiating) Death and Rebirth Converging into An Anchored Center
Mid Stage Direct: September 28

In this configuration of planetary astrological signs, we have all but AIR (which would add the ration of reason and logic) represented within the intense focused energy of the retrograde planets. And, the modality that provides stability and a vessel of synthesis of what in Cardinal (beginning) flow enters into it and what as Mutable (flexible, and connective) receives its more refined product is represented by the Major players of Sun and Moon in Fixed Leo (Fixed and un-relentless Fire).

Find your place of shade and peer at the sun through well protected glasses…
The natural inclination when something is trying to hide your light (voice, will, fill in the blanks) is to stoke those fires even more. This generally out-pictures as reactionary defense. This shadow of passing will eclipse the light for its duration regardless of how you struggle to amplify your fires of re-action. Remain steady and as the shadow moves in place, look deeply and introspectively into what lay in the depths of your inner fire. And, offer up freely to this shadow what you wish to have it absorb from you that will encourage a greater clarity (and appreciation) of where the fiery tendrils of your Will need to be extended.

And, The Day After….

August 22.2017
Sun and Moon Transit into a Solar Month of Virgo (Mutable Earth)

This is the month to sort through, analyze and get all of your ducks in a row in the areas of Will and action (the Solar Principle) and Heart and emotion (The Lunar Principle). If you have emerged from the shadow of the Eclipse and did not allow its flares to overheat and agitate, you can make good use of this time to take a closer look at any rough surfaces and imperfections that can be refined and reshaped to be more closely in alignment with what your beliefs and values truly are. Think of a jeweler with magnifying eyepiece and forehead lamp, scrutinizing very carefully the rough stone that will become the gem of great worth with further polishing and refinement. You are that gem and the light of the Sun and your honest evaluation of all you are and who you wish to become are just waiting to be smoothed and polished.

What If? New Moon in Cancer

Posted in Auspicious Days, Lunar, Magick, Neptune, New Moon, Pluto, Retrogrades, Saturn on June 22, 2017 by themagickalpen

June 23.2017
New Moon in Cancer
10:31p.m. (EDT)

Sun in Cancer

This New Moon is hot on the heels of Wednesday’s Summer Solstice (6.22.2017) and Solar Transition into the astrological sign of Cancer. Cancer is all about family, home, security, feeling valued and feeling safe. Everything that we all hope for in our earthly existence and much of how those things play out in our lives are based on the nebulous balance of control and surrender.

We have emerged from the day of the Summer Solstice, basking in the longest day of light and feeling the sun’s warmth wrap around us like a soothing blanket welcomed in coming in from a cold blustery day. The Solstice energy is one of over abundance of one energy so that the other may take its hold and ultimately do the work of preparation necessary to achieve the balance and momentary equilibrium that will follow at the time of the equinox.

How we use that over abundance is framed by our perspective of what is safe, what is of value, what will provide security and where will we find the solace of home and family if everything does not go as planned. But, what if we could take hold of all that is of benefit and unconditionally trust that all will proceed “as it should”. Mind, I did not say, positively, negatively or other. Each of those states has both boons and failures. That’s where trust comes into play. Knowing that regardless of the semantics we use to identify a situation as beneficial or negative there is a fair amount of the other in each. We are able to celebrate the longest day, despite the knowledge that it also heralds the descent into lessening light and colder weather.

We know that this will continue until it peaks and then we begin the process of calling to ourselves the light that we “trust” will glow brightly with the Sun’s strengthening and return at the Winter Solstice. In the meanwhile we are called indoors and seek the warmth and comfort of home, cuddle in with family as we “wait out” the darkness and redefine what these things truly mean to us. All very Cancerian pursuits prompted by a singular point on the Great Wheel and astronomical time that became the inspiration for diving more deeply into those places and people that offer security.

What if we allowed these re-defining moments to become a continuous flow of wave and current? The emotional sea that keeps us afloat regardless of the stormy seas of outer conflict and disappointments. The safe haven in which we could find the comfort of healing and loosen our fear of drowning in the dark abyss of waters that lay beneath the surface. What if we stopped struggling to rise above the waters and instead embraced them in all of their fullness as they crest and recede in the wake of our life’s journey?

Retrogrades:

Saturn in Sagittarius (April – August 25) – Mid-point
Neptune in Pisces (June 16 – November 22)
Pluto in Capricorn (April 20 – September 28)

We have our planetary family of allies in our journey of ‘What if”. The focus and intention of the retrograde slowing calls out, “What if you heeded my lessons and drank deeply from the introspective wisdom I offer? “.

In this lunation and Solar month of Cancer’s Cardinal (initializing energies that catalyze the first beginnings) Waters of life (and light) all that gives structure and organization to what we value and hold dear as our space of sanctuary is held in the wisdom of Saturn’s regimentation. Saturn is in the Fiery sign of Sagittarius-Mutable and flexible in its contractive and expansive desire to reach beyond and act. This Saturnian wisdom holds the light of fires that seek out others of like-mind and intention and its gift for this Cancerian New Moon is in the “What if, I trust in myself and allow my heart and my emotions to seek out a broader family of those I treasure and who treasure me? What might I learn about love, and my ability to love and be loved? And, how will that change the structure I have built for myself of what can be? “.

Retrograde Neptune in its ruling sign of Pisces allows for a depth of exploring what has been buried deep in the seas of our willingness to trust. Mutable and flexible Pisces gives of itself unconditionally; no ocean is too deep, no lake to long and no sea too stormy to get to the place of love and compassion that transcends its needs for that of the other. This is the ultimate giver, supporter and nurturer of each individual, seeing all as an extension of the beauty and Divinity of what is the source of its creation. What if you allowed this unconditional love to flood through you? What if you surrendered to its gifting you with the peace and sanctuary of forgiveness, hope and the truth of this beauty flowing through all despite the angry seas of emotion that we may encounter? This sea’s gift for this Cancerian New Moon calls to you to “Sink into my healing waters. Have no fear, you will not drown. I will gently support your descent as we move down deeper than you have braved alone. What is seen as murkiness and illusion in the refracting of my light in these depths, is simply a mirror reflecting back the beauty of your Soul. The clarity that you seek is the real illusion, for only that which is rigid and unyielding will produce that image. You are the flow of this sea itself and what you fear in my depths, is of your loving creation. So, fear not and instead see the beauty of my bioluminescent life below and the sanctuary found in this watery home.”

And, finally the ally of Pluto, master of the unknown and keeper of the mystery of re-membering the past and future as a gift to the present. Pluto in earthy Capricorn forms the foundation and acts as the scaffolding of confidence to explore what cannot be seen; proceeding from a place of security that has upheld on every occasion of doubt. What if, we stood at the gates of the unknown and called out to what lay beyond trusting that what answered would be precisely where and what we would need to grow. Capricorn allows for growth that spans the depths and reaches the heights, all the while being held in safety and surety that you will not falter. This is only true, if you take those first steps and if you allow the “What if, I don’t succeed?” become the “What if I excel?”.  Pluto’s gift for this Cancerian New Moon dares you “to try. To trust in the process. To recognize all (and who) that supports and upholds your heart’s desires. And, in that moment of allowing your heart to sing and move in the beauty of its birthright, you will draw from the lessons of the past, and use them to anchor yourself in the present as you look towards a future that becomes the Cancerian space of home, family and security.”

What If..

So, on this day of the New Moon of Beginnings in the Watery Seas of Cancer I return to the question I posed at the start…

“What if we allowed these re-defining moments to become a continuous flow of wave and current? To become the emotional sea that keeps us afloat regardless of the stormy seas of outer conflict and disappointments. The safe haven in which we could find the comfort of healing and loosen our fear of drowning in the dark abyss of waters that lay beneath the surface. What if we stopped struggling to rise above the waters and instead embraced them in all of their fullness as they crest and recede in the wake of our life’s journey?”

What if?….

Harmony of the Creative Mind-Full Moon in Libra

Posted in Astrology, Full Moon, Jupiter, Libra, Mercury, pathworking, Retrogrades on April 10, 2017 by themagickalpen

April 11.2017
Full Moon in Libra
2:08a.m.

In the early hours of the morning tomorrow, the Moon will wax full in the airy sign of Libra. Libra bears the gift of the cardinal/quickening modality and as an air/mental sign what blossoms are the seed thoughts that can be woven with will and desire in all efforts of creation.

Libra is known typically as the astrological sign of harmony (at all costs), beauty and refinement. Its ruling planet is Venus and so harmony of relationships is naturally interwoven into the expectations of Libra’s outpouring. Being of the Air element, these foci are ones of concept, rather than action (Fire), heart (Water) or physical (Earth) endeavors.

Now, let’s scale back the stereotypical attributions and think more clearly on what the definition of “beauty” and those scales of balance, that are the symbols of Libra, can become. We know the saying that “beauty is in the eye of the beholder” and no where does this hold more true than in the endeavors of Libra. The natural strivings towards harmony achieved by the weighing of all possible outcomes is held most often not in the idealized image of beauty but the state of refinement and clarity that is achieved when all is working harmoniously-that is truly a beautiful thing. Balance, particulalry when we have the image of scales, typically is perceived of as equality. Each scale in perfect balance with the other and a center line of equilibrium achieved!

But, balance is most productive when discernment and selectivity are in play. In every equation there will be times when something must be more than (weigh in heavier) than its opposing directive. And, as the scales begin to tip too heavily and what was originally dominant becomes overly exerted, the other must rise up, take hold and bring “balance” to what is no longer on point. If, at anytime during this process, both equally exert the same amount of force, inertia set’s in and what may appear to be blissful, soon runs its course and nothing new can be created. So, Libra’s scales that refine and calibrate to create the most harmonious state of mind that sees the beauty held in everything.

From that realization of beauty’s many visions, the potential for creation from a mind that is able to envision, weigh and refine what its wishes to bring into manifestation, exponentially becomes more powerful and ultimately more palpable.

This Full Moon, with the assistance of some creative allies holds the potential for beginning the work of drawing from the mind, applying the law of vibration through envisioning and recording that vision, and seeing with clarity the codifying of what is a viable product for manifestation.

Allies and Such

Venus, the planetary ruler of Libra has been retrograde since March 4 and is gearing up to loosen the intensity and station direct on April 15th. This retrograde has heightened the emotional responses and the seeking for justice and refinement of the status quo. Currently, Venus is in the watery sign of Pisces. So that beauty and justice sought after is laden with compassion and idealism regrading how this may be achieved.

Applying this intensity to the Libra basking in the full waters of emotive heart can enable heart and mind working together as the creative merging flows.

Additionally, Mercury stationed retrograde yesterday, April 9th. Mercury is the planetary ruler of Gemini, part of the Libran, Aquarius and Gemini triad of mental process and breath. Mercury is in the astrological sign of Taurus, giving an earthiness and rooting in of its communicative style. Here we have the ability to communicate (through Mercury’s gifts) what it is that we are called to create as Libra’s scales weigh and measure as each idea is created anew.

Jupiter has been retrograde since the early part of February and is currently in the astrological sign of Libra. Partner up with the expansive flexibility of Jupiter and create “big”. Now is not the time to limit your potential. Instead, allow this energy to blossom and expand in a flexible way and the ebb and flow that is the natural expansive and contractive nature of Jupiter will aid the process of bringing into balance all the components necessary for a “beautiful” outcome.

The Book of Creative Mind

The Book of Creative Mind is a pathworking I wrote many years ago and have used and shared many times since. this Full Moon is the perfect opportunity to begin your book; light up what you want to create and realize the power of creation contained within each of us. Once you have experienced the beauty of your mind’s creation and the heart-felt strength generated you will know the true meaning of balance and beauty.

Blessings of this Full Moon!
