Full Moon in Sagittarius
7:02am (EDT)

Summer Solstice
6:34pm (EDT)

Solar Transit into Cancer

Mutable Grand Cross
Phase 2

Just when you thought the astrological energy couldn’t get any more complex, we arrive at the Summer Solstice. June 20.2016, numerologically and aptly a number 8 ( 6+2+2+1+6=17/8) is bursting with auspicious moments. In numerology, the number eight represents the image of the lemniscate; or time eternal and cyclical. If you position the number eight on its side, this is the symbol of the lemniscate and the openings on either end are both points of entry and release. Past, present and future occurring simultaneously and continually as what was moves through the central crossover space of the present and immediately enters into the future. Given the dynamics on this day of the number eight, we are experiencing some events that occur rarely (decades) and are strategically placed in juxtaposition to what we are familiar and comfortable with in the “norm” of astrological events.

Today marks the second Full Moon in Sagittarius; the first occurring last month. The archer has practiced aim and sharpened those arrows in one more effort at bringing to fruition and full realization of what desires have been smoldering in the fiery bow. This first also occurred when Father Sun had just changed his garb to reflect Gemini’s duality and flexibility in communication and creative thought. Today, another costume change is readied as the Sun(transits) flows into the watery garb of Cancer’s healing lunar filled waters. Home and family being the primary focus as communicative outreach takes a backseat and heart heats up the ebb and flow.

There is plenty of time for this changing of the garb, as this day of The Summer Solstice is the longest of daylight in the year and every last ray is held tightly in the space of memory marking the solar wisdom of the waning of the year and increasingly shorter minutes of daylight until the Winter Solstice. And, the planetary energies have been re-positioning themselves from the First noted mutable Grand Cross configuration at the Dark Moon on June 4th. Now, in the place of Venus, her partner Mercury; quite at home in his ruling sign of Gemini has stepped in to offer the necessary resistance to Saturn’s Sagittarian structuring. Where Venus sought refinement that at times was more akin to idealization, Mercury just wants to get the information out there; order and structure not a prerequisite when the need for discourse moves swiftly.

Venus has joined the Sun in the soothing waters of Cancer basking in the beauty of a well-illumined space that reveals all the treasures that she seeks in her quest for harmony and balanced grace.

Mutable Grand Cross:Phase Two

(Retrograde) Neptune in Pisces & Jupiter in Virgo
(Retrograde) Saturn in Sagittarius & Mercury in Gemini

The suggestion for navigating these Grand Crosses was to sit as the observer. This hold true for this iteration as well and should not be considered passivity; rather an opportunity to allow time (Saturn’s gift) to shake out what MUST remain before we impetuously run in to “fix” things. A reminder regarding the Mutable action of this Cross. Flexibility implies endings and new beginnings; however creating an untimely demise has lasting repercussions from which the process of regeneration can be much more challenging!

Venus in the line-up on June 4th provided the potential for amicable endings before Mercury moved into position, in this phase, to begin the process of communicating and directing the impetus of next steps (new growth). Additionally, Neptune stationed Retrograde on June 13th providing more murkiness to the matters of heart and emotion as greater depths are reached pulling on the naturally expansive nature of Jupiter in the opposing sign of Virgo. The weight of the world’s tears and emotional outpourings (Neptune in Pisces) have pushed deeper into the the womb of earth’s fertility (Virgo) and it responds by accommodating and flexing (Jupiter) appropriately.

Retrograde Saturn is still intent on redirecting the fiery catalysts of Sagittarius as the master of versatility (Mercury) steps up to prod and loosen the tension allowing those arrows to fly and begin new dialogues (Gemini) and brain storming that moves what remains inert.

Waiting in the Darkened Wings

actorsface

Why wait? Why Observe? Because waiting in the wings are two additional players whose influences are part of the bigger picture. Mars and Pluto have been retrograde since mid-April in the astrological signs of Scorpio and Capricorn, respectively. These are the both planets that offer an intensity that slowly builds, and can remain largely transparent in its real effects until precisely the right cue is given and the stage is theirs.

Mars urges action and change that is assertive in its manner and in the astrological sign of Scorpio, the most complex of the signs, Fire (Mars) and Water (Scorpio) have the potential to reach a boiling point that pulls to the surface what lay as discarded remains at the bottom. The caution is that much of what has been discarded has been so for a reason; past hurts, harmful actions, unkind thoughts and words, etc.. This is where the need for discernment and clarity in put some of these into action to effect productive change requires a slow and steady command infused with supreme self-control.

Pluto carries the seeding of what has been composted as past endeavors to allow for the vision of what future products may be. In the astrological sign of Capricorn, the effects of this are primarily in the earthy (or manifest) realms and are directed by slow and steady progress that can maneuver through the extremes of the highest and lowest intentions. The goal is one of securing just enough information that will inspire and reveal confidence in the knowledge that when you are ready to take action in your life, the way will be sure-footed and purposeful.

Anchor Into The Beauty of Your World

fl arbol de la vida

Just breathe. Be the observer and take in the beauty and energy of this planet as the events of the cosmos unfold. As you celebrate the Light of the Solstice day and the Full Moon, anchor deeper into the gentleness of the Mother. This is the space of quiet and refuge as the cosmic energy reaches critical mass. Look out and up towards a sky patterned with the leaves of a Tree and re-member the strength and resiliency that is held within.

In our current class, I offered up a drumming respite to connect with a tree, moving into its roots and drawing up the intention of strengthening. I offer this again to use if you wish as the heavens move in their cycles and great change is still to come. I invite you to use the space of this longest day to find sometime to sit under your favorite Tree and simply be…

Full Moon in Sagittarius
5:14 p.m. (EDT)

Sun in Gemini Transit: May 20
10:36a.m. (EDT)

We began the Solar Month of Gemini on Friday as the last 48-hrs. of Mercury’s (planetary ruler of Gemini) retrograde holds us accountable and cautious regarding matters of communication. Very opportune, giving the Full Moon’s energies of Sagittarius and the potential to allow the seeds of our catalytic will to be carried out into the world; arrows aflame! Think of this space of time as the additional care to be given as the archer’s bow and arrow are aligned precisely where we wish to hit the mark of change and stimulate new growth.

This is one of two Full Moons that will wear the mantle of Sagittarian energy, the second occurring next month on June 20th and will be in its 29th degree wearing its developed and mature garb. This Moon heralds the first steps in stepping into Sagittarius’ energy at the 1st degree. Even, this dynamic is one that we can harness, using this Full Moon’s energy with a similar intention of cycle that flows from New Moon to Full Moon. Apply this to the waxing of Sagittarius’ fiery energy: this Full Moon sees the first picking up of the bow that will then hold the arrow of intention that are released and, if sure and true, will hit its mark and become the fullness of flame (at June’s 29th degree Full Sagittarian Moon) and heat that cause lasting change!  Pretty cool, isn’t it?

Riding the wave of this energy, we are moving along a Fire Moon’s path that culminates on the Full Moon of the Summer Solstice, also June 20th and the transit of the Sun into the astrological sign of watery (and Moon ruled) Cancer. Think of this apex in this way:

On the longest day (Summer Solstice) when Father Sun crests in his vitality and strength, that heat is cooled by Mother Moon’s waters of fiery and quickened intent (Sagittarius). Their dance is a Tango, passionate and flowing, yet sharp and precise in the pointed nature and intention of each gesture and posture (the sharpened arrows of Sagittarius). He gives the full burst of energetic response, his emotions rising in heated desire (Transit into Cancer and waters enlivened by Sun’s rays) with each caress and entwining of embrace. The celestial music plays and as the day’s energies wane, the dance slows as the consummate union of Sun and Moon, Masculine and Feminine, Fire and Water herald the promise of new creation.

Rewind to this Full Moon of May: This is the space of planning, practicing and preparing for whatever the bull’s eye of your intention is. Bows raised in the first release of intention that we seek to enliven with the fires of change. Sights set on what will be catalyzed. Breathe deeply and let go! With the help of the Sun in Gemini, and its last efforts (Retrograde until Sunday, May 22nd) at slowing things down enough to give your intentions time to communicate with your actions, we have greater potential of actually hitting the goal with fewer attempts.

All A Quiver..

An additional dynamic to this Full Moon energy is a conjunction formed between the Moon and Retrograde Mars in Sagittarius. A conjunction occurs when the planets involved are within an orb up to 10-degrees of each other. In this case both the Moon and Mars are at 1-degree aspects.

Mars energy is active, assertive and can serve productively if positively directed. The retrograde intensifies the need to be active, so impulsivity or spontaneity can be favorable in allowing for flexibility of change or derailing the best efforts. This also means that tension will arise and the tautness that occurs replaces flexibility with rigidity. But, tension, more accurately just the right application of tension can bolster the efforts of  Sagittarius’ natural predisposition towards outreach and action. This ties in well with the directive of Mercury and its retrograde putting extra pressure on detail and precision in communication (or letting those arrows fly).

Envision this Mars-Moon conversation as one of emotional desire (Moon) that is allowing the will towards action (Mars) to assist in the co-creation of of change and broader dialogue that reaches beyond (Sagittarius) the normal boundaries that we often self-impose.

As the light of this blessed Full Moon shines stand in the space of your readiness to ignite the night sky with your arrows of action and intention….

A Delicate Balance: Full Moon in Libra

March 23.2016
Full Moon in Libra
8:01am

Lunar Eclipse

Sun in Aries

Mother Moon waxes Full at 8:01am (EDT) tomorrow morning in the astrological sign of Libra. Libra is represented as Cardinal (catalyzing and initiating) Air (mental processes and movement). This is an airy energy that moves in a more refined way so it can actualize what it aspires towards.

This is a Full Moon of opportunity to establish a harmonious and more centered mental outlook. The Full Moon occurs at the peak of the lunar cycle and as such brings the dynamic of realized potential that is illuminated, expansive and heart centered.  Libra’s symbol is that of the scales, so balance is a theme of this sign; not equanimity; rather a balance that occurs when everything is as it should be with the appropriate amount of energy in dominance that will bring about refinement and productivity.

At the pole of opposition is the Sun, now in the astrological sign of Aries, Cardinal Fire. On the Zodiacal Wheel, Fiery Aries is directly opposite Airy Libra. Both are Cardinal signs; these being the prompters and starters of whatever elemental energy is present. Flowing through this Full Moon’s story is that of an emotional (Moon) landscape informed by the flow of new ideas (Libra) that stimulate the desire to strengthen (Sun) the sparks that will feed a newly lit flame (Aries) of creative action. Mind and Heart have the opportunity to unite with just enough tension (balance and the opposition of Sun and Moon) to produce a beautiful and harmonious outcome.

Add to this potential, a Lunar Eclipse and Earth (manifestation) as the recipient….

The Lunar Eclipse

lediagram1c 2

When a Lunar Eclipse occurs, the Earth finds itself mid-point between the Sun and Moon. I see this as an opportunity to infuse the earthly and manifest realm with the strength of the Sun as it gathers to itself the healing of the Moon. In the action of reciprocity, the manifest realm becomes the place of filter for the Sun’s enlivening and the Moon calls into itself a dynamic potency that has been “flavored” by physicality.

Esoteric Implications

This is another way to utilize and contemplate the Lunar Eclipse.

Within the practice of Esoteric astrology the Sun has a tri-fold nature. Its physical energy is that of the fohat, pure electromagnetic dynamics. The spiritual overlay is that if Prana, pure life force energy that sustains and enlivens us. And, at the level of the individual the Sun is the space of awakened consciousness. The potential of what we strive towards as spiritual beings that has been charged by the flow of solar energy in our physical form.

The Moon is the storehouse and keeper of memory and the subconscious space of desires, want and need. This is the space of reconciliation between our physical and mental processes and what it is that our Soul truly desires to make it whole. This is often the deeper disparity between what we feel to be true and what we know to be true. When these are working collaboratively there is no separation between mind and heart as each informs the other.

The Earth is the place of our inner and outer journeys. The outer is one of physical experience and the weight of responsibility held in what that physical experience has as offering. The inner journey is one of recording the lessons of these experiences, the acceptance of the effects of what we cause to be and what visions we infuse to quicken this lifetime. This is the place of service and the yearnings to make whole that service in offering to the Divine.

The experience of these three planets of alignment as the lunar eclipse comes into focus of energy is one of wholeness. It is one of moving into a collaborative state with the physical you, the will-filled you and the you that remains outside of space or time that is reflected in our Higher Self.

Full Moon in Virgo
February 22.2016

Jupiter Remains Retrograde in Virgo

The Moon waxes Full today at 1:20 p.m. in the astrological sign of Virgo. The Sun just recently transited into its Solar Month of Pisces and in keeping with the Full Moon dance of Moon and Sun in opposition, the tension generated is one of staying true to the imposed tight budget that Mother Moon has put into place despite Father Sun wanting to splurge on those in need. This energy is one of contraction (Virgo) and expansion (Pisces). This also means that with the Moon at the peak of her power and light of expression, every little penny will be accounted for and the necessary adjustments made to get the budget back on track.

Now, the additional support that this Virgo Moon has is that of Jupiter stationed Retrograde in the same sign- Virgo. Jupiter’s natural flexibility has redirected that energy inward with optimal focus on what needs expansion on the inner realms of your being.. This action feels very much like a contracted state where the load is heavily pushing inward, but we also must remember that the reciprocity of that inward contraction makes for more room that centers on the mid-point rather than the periphery.

You may have been feeling the imposing analysis of Virgo since Jupiter’s Retrograde on January 7th. And, we are only about a quarter of the way through what will increasing become more like intense scrutiny before it stations direct on May 9th. Keep this though in mind as we progress through the next few Solar Months and Moon Phases; each having their own particular astrological flavor to be analyzed more fully.

The astrological sign of Virgo is an Earth sign; meaning that the areas where this intensity will be felt are those of the manifest realm and whatever you have carefully erected as the building blocks of your foundations. This could be financial, your physical body, your home, etc… This Full Moon offers the opportunity to put whatever you wish under the microscope for a closer look at how it is actually constructed and if the supports and work that went into it was one of quality or a shabby pull together.

Emerge from this Moon of analysis tomorrow morning into the light and waters of  understanding (and forgiveness, if necessary) of whatever you may have rooted out that is not your best work. The strength of the Sun and the waters of Pisces are those that can soothe what may have been exposed and begin the process of hope and renewal for what you wish to experience in its place.

Tis year, I am going to be posting more pathworkings, audio and ways of expanding your astrological perspective. This is an opportunity for you to have direct experience with the concepts presented. Additionally, there is so much more to be received when you know how to connect the dots and begin to see that patterns. And, much like looking at a slide under a microscope, whatever the specimen on the slide, a whole new world in which it is contained can be seen.

In honor of Virgo, I have recorded a Pathworking entitled:

The Hall of Virgo

The First Full Moon of 2016

Full Moon in Leo

Saturday’s lunation marks the first of 2016’s Full Moons. Mother Moon shines brightly in the astrological sign of Leo. Father sun has just entered his reign in the Fixed Air of Aquarius and the conversation is one of charismatic strength of heart (Moon in Leo) and an illuminated mind (Sun in Aquarius) of future’s vision and the potential therein.

Add to this Retrograde Mercury in earthy Capricorn, just about ready to station direct and 16-day old Retrograde Jupiter in analytical and practical Virgo and the recipe is ripe for getting (Mercury) right to the heart of the matter (Virgo) while maintaining a flexible (Jupiter) attitude.

And, what about it being the first Full Moon of the year? That’s pretty cool as well with some very potent energy that may be called upon with a very specific intention. Numerologically, 2016 resonates to the number 9 (2+1+6); the number of transmutation, endings, beginnings and the thresholds that are crossed as old becomes new. This is the space and potential of initiation into the mysteries of the unknown.

What better way to begin this year of transformation than under the watchful gaze of of the fiery Moon of Leo. Not just any fire, but Fixed Fire. you know, these are the fires that burn strong as they remove what no longer is viable and prepare the way for what “can become”. Use this Full Moon to heat the waters of your own creative nature and catalyze the dialogue the sun of your will and the moon of your heart’s capacity to stand strong and roar loudly as you fiercely protect what you hold most dear.

What will you claim as your power in this new year?

On the night of this Leo Moon, I will sit on the shores of my vast ocean. Head lifted and mane flowing as I lay in regal repose. The tides will flow and I will remain as guardian of the Gates that hold the mysteries of the depths of who and what I will become. And, in morning sun’s light, all that I envisioned and all that was revealed will ride the arc of sun’s light and I will carry the memory of this moonlit night and the power of my fullest expression into the promise of a year of transformation.

So Mote It Be!!!

A side note: Geographically, where I live we are expecting a blizzard this weekend. Saturday is predicted to be the mid-point of this blanketing of heavy and very wet snow. How to tweak a bit more intention from this lunation?

I will be en-visioning the spark of growth that lay beneath this snow. The ground is cold and frozen but life stirs within it; ready to brighten the world at March’s end. This is the promise that all initiatory experience (remember the 9 of this year) holds. This is the work of that process. To provide what appears to be the challenge of freezing over what we wish to see blossoming sooner rather than later. But, in the wisdom and intelligence of the heart (Moon) and the strength (Sun) of what will ultimately “be”, this is merely the means to stir into action and catalyze (Leo) what is quickening beneath as natural response to this imposed state of contractive creation (Jupiter Retrograde). Nonetheless, the message is clear (Mercury getting ready to station Direct) and nature in her abundance takes hold. Life stirs beneath the snow and frozen earth and although hidden for now from visible sight, the priming of Spring’s first budding becomes the vision that warms the soul (Aquarius) on the cold winter’s night.

10:53pm(EST)

These past few days have been packed with celestial events that punctuate the soon to be ending of a year of highs and lows. The Solstice of December 21st. marked the longest night of the year and as the Sun transited in Capricorn at 11:49p.m., once again we entered the quickening of new Light and the hope that is birthed with that awakening. The Moon waxed in another Earth sign, Taurus and provided a triad of Fire (Sun)-Water (Moon) and Earth (Capricorn and Taurus). The Cardinal(new beginnings and first flow) energy of Capricorn’s Sun moved into position to feed its outpouring of new light into Lady Moon’s birthing waters that stood ready in the Fixed (stabilization and structure) energy of Taurus. Earth is the sign of manifestation, so the potential of what was begun at this Solstice is one of stable and manifest creation.

A few days of synthesis and continued expansion culminated last night as the Moon waxed Full in its native sign of Cancer at 6:11am (EST). What was birthed at the Solstice now has the nurturing of a heart filled with the fullness of unconditional love. The watchful and gentle light of Mother Moon shines brightly on her creation and the beauty of that creation is front and center for all to see.

Light reigned supreme in its return. Mother Moon and Father Sun stood proudly in revealing their creation and Uranus brought all to a culminating point of blasting the bounty of this energy into the far and greater reaches of cosmic connections…

Uranus Stations Direct

Uranus, was the last of six(6) planets that stationed Retrograde in 2015 to station Direct on the 25th. Each of these planets had a very specific flow of energetic change to weave into the stories we co-created in this year’s journey.

Jupiter in Leo heralded in its expansive wisdom at the start of 2015 (having been retrograde from December 8.2014). Leo expressed itself as the burner, whose flames rose and fell in accord with wherever the intention for increased flexibility that provoked change was focused. April 8th brought relief from this intensity as Jupiter stationed Direct.

All System’s, Go! and The Blasted Tower

As we stand at the brink of crossing into the New Year of 2016, all systems are GO! for the changes that are yet to come. Challenge goes hand and hand with change, so there is no avoiding what will provide a year of change-and growth. How we respond to these changes; whether we choose to go kicking or screaming or to move with resilience of intention is a matter of how we express our free will.

What lay in the great beyond of worlds we have only imagined is just on the horizon and we are rapidly developing the tools required to gain sight of a loftier vision of what is possible. Science and Spirituality are no longer disparate streams, but do require that we broaden our personal perspectives, seeking the threadings of connection that run through each.

16-tower 2

I leave you with the image of the Tarot Key: The Tower

Imagine the Tower as the construct of your mind’s opinion, beliefs and boundaries of perception. The lightening bolt of Uranus’ electrical charge flashes and splits open that fortress you have built that, in reality, has held you captive in your own self-imposed limitations. Those that form the polarized conflicts (and mental debates) and allow entry only to those they find to be in accord with and non-threatening to their fortress are now cast out, no longer viable stewards of this newly changed structure. And, what remains is the foundation, unscathed, and perhaps stronger, that now may be rebuilt upon and re-inhabited with the creative potential of the unknown.

All systems, Go! Blast that tower! Open that mind! and Build high and strong into lands awaiting discovery!

Many blessings of this stellar ending to 2015 and abundance, prosperity in the coming year…. Robin

Keeping It Real! Full Moon in Taurus

Full Moon in Taurus
8:05am (EDT)

Sun in Scorpio

The moon waxes full in the astrological sign of Taurus this morning bringing an opportunity to explore what grounds us as the waters run deep and passionately. Taurus is an Earth sign of the Fixed Modality. Earth provides stability and a place from which to grow, inclusive of all that is physical and manifest in quality.  The Fixed Modality provides an energy of structure, being able to synthesize what seeks to contribute more of its energy and drawing that into a space that can transform and make more useable the by product as it flows out to a more flexible state. The symbol of the Bull is associated with Taurus and that selection alone gives rise to understanding of how strong this foundation can be.

Taurus is the strength that stands its ground secure in the sheer power it knows it can exert in holding steady whatever its focus may be. Apply this to the lunarscape of emotions and you have the recipe for staying the course and a certain predictability of response.  It is for this reason that workings using the energy of a Taurus Moon benefit the most when they involve a shoring up of what we consider out foundations of heart to be.

You know the proverbial image of the bull in the china shop reeking havoc on the delicate collectibles? I like to think f this scenario not so much as a representation of the awkwardness and lack of grace held in an animal that is far too large and solidly built to be in such refined spaces; but rather as an idea of how strength and girth carves out new boundaries for its impact when inhibited by what is far too fragile in the first place. What is in this situation is not the bull, who by the way, is simply doing and moving in the same way it would in any setting. The objects that are held static and on display to be appreciated, simply for their beauty rather than the actual function they may serve are what provide the setting for chaotic dismantling.

As with each Full Moon alignment, the Sun is directly opposite the Moon; in this case the astrological energy of this solar month is that of Scorpio. Scorpio is a Water sign of the Fixed Modality and has the infamous identification as the sign of excess, addictions, uncontrolled passions and seeking into the depths of shadow and the occult, never to return to the real world again. And, as with each of the signs of the Zodiac, these are only the predispositions towards imbalance in what Scorpio has as its gift.

Scorpio is also one that has the ability to truly transform. The symbol of usual reference is that of the Scorpion, hidden and ready to strike out whether provoked, or not. There are also two other associations. One being the Eagle and having the keenest of sight, perched above and able to select that which is appropriate prey to nourish and sustain. The third is the Phoenix, the creature that purposefully cleanses with the Fires it has created of its own free will and rises from the ashes, stronger, more beautiful and wiser than in its previous iteration. And, during this solar month, the Sun is shining brightly into those areas that need some of that energetic housecleaning and transformation. This becomes the funeral pyre that burns away the dross of emotional baggage that inhibits growth and forces the death and rebirth of something better than before.

Traditionally, these two points of alignment between Sun and Moon are considered oppositions and the implication is one of a tug of war; each pulling on the other in an effort to upset the status quo. This opposition is precisely what is needed to draw the best from both and force each to play nice with one another. I use the word force here in that the process often begins with resistance and the need for will and desire to take hold and set the right intention that will attract what is needed from the energy of both.

Keeping It Real!

I see this Full Moon as a rare opportunity to allow the freedom to explore, indulge and fuel my passions while holding the intention of remaining firmly anchored in the strength of my manifest power. Scorpio is highly intuitive and as such, it is not always easy to sort out what is reality, fantasy or something else altogether. But, if I make use of Taurus’ deep connection to all that constitutes the physical world I live in, I can allow the tether line to reach a little further into the astral and etheric realms, bringing back that which is needed.

Both Moon and Sun are providing the light that illuminates the emotional landscape that is held in the deepest parts of self. Taurus provides the vessel of physical form that Scorpio may work its magick of transforming the desires of heart that are both intuitive and real in their actions.

Mother Moon sits high
In darkened starlit sky
Body strong and full
Guardian and protectress
Of earth’s lands that she surveys.

Sun reaches deep into
Waters dark and thick
Pulling to the surface
The mysteries of the heart.

Moon and Sun each light
Illuminating what is to be.

Moon and Sun companions
Birthing what is to be.

I sit in the light of both
Dipping deep into my desire
Passion rises like waters
Boiling up and form gives way
To visions and on lofty wings
I soar and fly.

Sun my raging passion and
Moon the healing balm that
Quiets the pain of change.

I strain and resist the truth
Of my inner sight and wings
Beat furiously carrying me
High into the unknown night.

In the arms of Mother Moon
I find quiet – rest and rebirth
The flames have risen
The ashes been rendered
And to earth and form
I now return.

The labors of my journey
In the fullness of Moon
Heart’s orb now held within
My body of strength as Sun
Commands the day.

Many Blessings of Taurus Full Moon’s Strength……

Full Moon in Pisces
2:35 p.m.

Sun in Virgo

Step softly into my arms
Feel the feathery brush of my kiss
For you are my Beloved
And I tremble within your embrace.

Our hearts beat strongly as one
Our bodies no longer defined and
I rest in the sweet breath of your exhale
Gazing back into your loving face.

Our union in rapture complete
Soul’s yearning finally at peace
The Illuminated One my beloved
Mirror of SELF in Divinity released.

The Moon waxed Full just a few hours ago and the atmosphere is filled with a quiet and gentleness that has not been so for some time now. It is a momentarily reprieve from some very dynamic and charged astrological energy and much like the solace found in the arms of a loved one after the battering of the world; this is a time to renew and languish in the healing waters. Mother Moon is in the astrological sign of Pisces, the mistress of compassion and healing;  and although She squared off with Saturn in Scorpio early this morning, the tension between the two is offset by Retrograde Neptune also in Pisces, the astrological sign it Rules.

Water is everywhere, Pisces and Scorpio- the Moon and Neptune – and Saturn has a part to play in the order it is striving towards much like the Mother that accepts nothing but the best for her beloved and will stop time itself to provide what is needed. The intuitive heart of Scorpio (Saturn) guides this process but what it reveals may not be what you feel is needed. Put aside fear of reaching into those dark waters and remember that change and ultimately transformation are the same components needed to heal a wound or repair a heart that has been broken.

There is a great depth to felt with this Full Moon; Neptune supporting that deeper reach into waters that are filled with unseen potential, but carry the gift of bioluminescence to protect and to light the way. Saturn in Scorpio provides the Gate to probe into those deeper mysteries of our emotions and intuitively seek what is needed to bring structure to a compassion that flows freely and strongly (Pisces) often without regard to its own nurturing. This is the tension of a conflict (square) that is balanced by foundational sides that are not so dissimilar in nature; each having a valid point and perspective in a tug of war between giving too much and holding back.

We can call upon the aid of clarity from the Sun in Virgo. Here we will find the balance of will and strength that has practiced long the work of analyzing, sorting and finding the best that can be had towards productive result. Here we have informed (Virgo being ruled by Mercury, the master communicator) Will that stimulates this flow of waters that rise high and reach deeply. Compassion, for self and others, loosened the hardest of hearts. Deep and abiding love for self and others, unblocks any challenge that wish to pull us away from a path of understanding. And, a heart that knows what lay on the surface as well as what remains in the abyss below can bring resolution to what prevents us from seeing the truth of the world.

Tonight I will hold my beloved
Tonight I will honor my ability to feel deeply and strongly
Tonight I will allow the hand of the Divine to guide me
Tonight I will breathe deeply into the gentle light of my compassionate self

Tonight I will hold my beloved
And the illusions of the world will fall away

Destiny Calling, Again! The Blue Moon of July

ngm.nationalgeographic Full Moon in Aquarius (Blue Moon)
July 31.2015
6:43am (EDT)

Sun in Leo

The Blue Moon of July waxes full tomorrow morning at 6:43a.m. This is the second full moon to occur this month. The first punctuating the first day of July and this one underscoring the last. And, these two full moons were held in Father Sun’s mantles of polarity calling forth the power of Nurture (Sun in Cancer) and Nature (Sun in Leo).

The Full Moon of July 1 set the stage for healing at both the emotional and the levels of will. The foundations and earthiness of Capricorn provided the structure for those lunar waters to flow strongly and productively. Father Sun gently warmed those Cancerian waters to bolster, strengthen and nurture what lay within and provide just enough electromagnetic stream to attract what would serve.

Curtain up and lights full blaze as this Full Moon steps into the spotlight calling to itself what it requires-what it demands and what it will claim as its own to ensure success. Father Sun now wearing the brilliance of Leo’s power sets the waters of an Aquarian Full Moon ablaze as the emotional landscape opens itself to uncharted streams and rivers that lead out to a sea of new vision. The will to survive and to create is fueled by the desire to know and the instinctual actions taken to sustain.

This Full Moon offers a date with destiny as solar will attracts to itself the tools and emotional adjustments required to allow the revelation and truth of your power at all levels of your being. We, as a collective whole have been changing and evolving just as surely as the planets and stars have been moving into dialogue and positioning themselves just so in their orbital paths. Individually, the increased dynamics of cosmic energy we have experienced, this year alone, has affected even the most stable and grounded of persons; taking them outside of their comfort zones.

As we embrace the fullness of this moon’s dynamic, remember to reach back into the space of nurturing and honoring oneself that has been established. Then, allow yourself to be open to the experience of seeing beyond the horizon of what you believed yourself to be capable of achieving.

The Fantastic Four (FIVE)

There have been some very interesting events over the past few months that have stirred the underpinnings of life as we know it. Potent Solar flare activity electrified our planet’s energy fields at multiple levels and those sensitive to the solar fires felt the amplification up of neurological function.

And, with the retrograde of Venus last week on the 25th and Uranus the next day, we currently have five planets in “pause”. Saturn will station direct on August 1st., but the Lord of Time’s impact has been felt as boundaries of linear time and the resultant shattering of an outdated structure have re-assembled and reconfigured to maximize our greatest potential for growth.
Read more …..Saturn Retrograde- Time to Clean House

As Saturn loosens its point of focus, four planets will remain in retrograde:

Venus in Capricorn- July 25 through September 6
Venus Retrograde- Stop in the Name of Love!

Pluto in Capricorn April 16 through Sept. 25
Pluto Retrograde- You’ve Been Served!

Neptune in Pisces June 12 through November 18
Neptune Retrograde- Lifting the Veil

Uranus in Aries July 26 through December 25
Uranus Retrograde- Deflecting Light

As we move through the next several months the place of emphasis and potential for reshaping these areas will relate strongly to what we have crafted as our foundations of past effort and the relationships cultivated in our current world of manifestation (Pluto and Venus in Capricorn), boundaries of compassionate and healing flow (Neptune in its natural ruler of Pisces) and stimulating enough disruption to the status quo to create the fires of will that are undaunted by challenge (Uranus in Aries).

Being mindful that these dynamics are at play and spurring us on towards healing our past and accepting accountability for our future will add the component of intention to each challenge we face. Intention that knows when to surrender to our Higher Will and nurture all that is the best and the worst in us. And, intention that realizes the need to act and follow our natural and instinctual drives that make us uniquely human and connected to all of life on this planet.

Time to Simply Be…

In the fullness of this Moon of Aquarius. I will simply “Be”
I will not script out a ritual or working. I will simply “Be”
I will allow the energy of the day to move through me. I will simply “Be”
I will sit in the evening’s light looking up to the fullness of my Lady. I will simply “Be”

And, in this space of quiet, surrender and communion
I will simply “Become”

Full Moon in Libra- Weighing In

Full Moon in Libra
8:05a.m. (EDT)

Sun in Aries

Total Lunar Eclipse
5:01 am (EDT)

I see the many
Truths of my being
As time weighs and
Measures their value.

I stand strongly in
The light of their power
And hold this strength
Within the core of my
Manifest form.

I move with the tides
Of ebb and flow that
Is held within a mind
That seeks balance.

The fires rise from
The great depths of
Healing and what is
Birthed from these
Waters if quickening
Is Beauty in all of
Its forms.

The Moon waxes full in the astrological sign of Libra tomorrow morning at 8:05am(EDT). Libra is a sign of balance and harmony through refinement. It is also a sign of Air or Mind/Intellect and a Cardinal Modality which give emphasis to the catalytic nature of mind and thought. The energy of this Moon is one of realizing our power over mind and the ability to harness the natural flow of mind to be productive in its creative efforts in restoring inner and outer balance.

This is not the balance of equilateral scales, but the dissonant harmony that occurs when the correct amount of action is exerted leaving enough of a lack in its opposite form that creates something of refinement and beauty of its own accord.

We have the support of Father Sun in these endeavors in its mid-point of Aries fiery energy. The Full Moon occurs when the Sun and Moon are directly opposite the other in astrological sign. The combination here provides Fire (Aries) of the Mind (Libra).

The Lunar Eclipse
LEDiagram1c

Last weekend I taught a workshop entitled Celestial Magick. One of the components was about the energy of the eclipses. When a Lunar Eclipse occurs the Earth finds itself as mid-point between the Sun and the Moon.

The total Lunar eclipse will begin at 5:01am (EDT). Read more about it here::::

The Total Lunar Eclipse

“In New York City, the moon will be below the horizon at 6:36 a.m. although the partial eclipse from that location would actually end at 9:44 a.m. They only get to see the beginning of the eclipse,” Edelman said.

Those in the Eastern U.S. will likely not have the best viewing conditions anyway due to clouds, but especially in New England, which will be facing stormy weather, AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Mark Paquette said. Elsewhere, Paquette said conditions look average in the mid-Atlantic and the Ohio and Tennessee valleys, with good viewing weather for Florida, the Mississippi Valley and western Great Lakes.

The blood moon moniker is derived from the red color that is cast over the moon from light refracting in Earth’s atmosphere.

“The red portion of sunlight is what makes it through our atmosphere to the other side, bent toward the eclipsed Moon, so that even though the Moon is within Earth’s shadow, the red portion of the Sun’s light can give the Moon this ghostly illumination,” Edelman said, adding that how red an eclipsed Moon gets depends on the characteristics of the atmosphere on that day such as clouds, and temperature.

Weighing In
imgres-1

How will you align strength of will(Sun/Aries), body(earth) and healing mind(moon/Libra) at this Full Moon? he eclipse offers the power to infuse body with the Fires of Will and the Healing of Mind and our perceptions. I will call to the fullness of a state of balance that vacillates between will and mind, at times each having more weigh in than the other. I will call to the continued flow of healing and refinement of where that healing exerts more of its weight in response to my need. I will contemplate my place as manifest form in the stream of Father Sun’s Light and the compassionate reserves of Mother Moon. I will become the scales that are flexible and resilient in their receipt and offer freely from what has been accumulated as the treasure of greatest worth- the wholeness of my being….
